We are pleased to welcome you to the GB Dance & Music Festival 2010.
The Festival will be held from 20th to 23rd May 2010. The final Gala Performance will take place on the 23rd May 2010 at 6:00pm at the Shaw Theatre in central London.
Dance and Music master classes with well established artists and producers will be run during the Festival.
Dance Master classes will be held on the 23 May 2010 between 9:00am and 12:00pm. Music Master classes will be held at the Russian-British Music Academy "Musica Nova" (88 Cromer street, London WC1H 8DG) on 22 May 2010 between 9am and 5:00pm and on the 23rd of May from 9:00am. GB DANCE will focus on Classical, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Funky, Folk and all of the various interpretations of Theatre Dance Laboratories. Theatre space will be given to Schools and Dance Departments. Students and guest artists will present one or more pieces of a performance or review which will compete for prizes in the various categories of the GB Dance Festival 2010.
GBMUSIC master classes will focus on Singing (classical, musicals, pop, R'N'B, gospel, jazz) as well as piano (classical and jazz) and violin (classical/jazz). For overseas participants we plan to introduce the British system of music Grade exams & postgraduate levels. Music course tutors are the best and well-established artists in the music industry.
Schedule
May 20th - Thursday
- Expected arrival in London, settlement in the hotels (after 13:00)
- Theatrical activities for the dance groups;
- Following dinner in Hotel or packet dinner.
May 21st - Friday
- 8:00 AM Breakfast in the Hotel.
- Press Conference for all participants of The Festival (BBC, RTVI, Dance channel etc).
- Excursions - The program will be definitive after the registration.
May 22d - Saturday
- 8:00 AM Breakfast in the Hotel.
- Theatrical activities- according to the group's theatrical program. Semi -Final.
- Lunch and dinner (or Packet lunch/packet dinner) following the activities' program.
- The program will be definitive after the registration.
- Music & Singing master classes "All Stars"
May 23rd Easter Sunday
- 8:00 AM Breakfast in the Hotel.
- 9:00 AM Master classes: Dance: Ballet, Flamenco, Hip-Hop.
- 9:00 AM Music and Singing Masterclasses "All Stars"
- 18-30 Show Competition and following Awarding Ceremony.
- Packet dinner.
May 24th - Monday
- 8:00 AM Breakfast in the Hotel.
- Departure.
