Online lessons

From the 1st August 2019 we will carry out our first online music lessons and workshops as a part of the International Summer Music School ‘A World of New Talents’. The course will be comprised of a series of 5-10 minutes pre-recorded lessons on each particular module and a set of ten 45 minutes consultation lessons in real time on convenient dates and times (advanced booking is required). Lessons will be taught by distinguished musicians from the Musica Nova Academy.

Online lessons will be offered for students of foundation, intermediate and advanced levels and will cover the following topics:

• Learning techniques
  ❖ Singing (classical / contemporary / musical theatre). 
  ❖ Piano (classical, jazz)
  ❖ Guitar (acoustic, electric, learning to play blues)
  ❖ Woodwinds (flute, clarinet, saxophone)
  
• Jazz improvisation techniques
• Acting and self-confidence presenter course.
• Repertoire interpretation. Lessons are focused on classical and contemporary syllabuses, including the ABRSM and Rockschool Grade exam repertoire
• Music Theory and composition
• Aural Training
